






Engineering Maintenance / Inventory Management
- Summary screen showing the number of items listed, and how many have tests due or overdue. Drill down further for lists of items in each category, which can be printed.
- Full equipment list with highlighted test and survey dates that are imminent or overdue. Items that have failed either test or survey are also highlighted.
- Equipment data includes identification and certificate numbers, test and survey dates, storage, remarks, who owns it, who tested it, who made it and more.
- Defect history and report. Includes defect descriptions, priorities, estimations for repair, condition of the equipment and more. Full defect reports can be printed.
- Record multiple items test or survey results in one action. Most of the relevant test information is entered automatically so all that is left is anything that is item specific.
- Test and survey reports. Review the full Test/survey history for each item and show or print relevant test certificates.
- Set test and survey dates for multiple items in one action.
- Item type list. Each individual item is of a specific type, such as a 6 tonne shackle. If you have many such items in your inventory you don't have to enter its description, drawing number, safe working load or anything else more than once. When you add a new shackle just pick its description from the list.
- Full contact list showing manufacturers, owners, examiners and more. This includes a list of qualifications for individuals showing review and pass dates.
Information Gathering and Sharing
- Filter the data in any order as well as being able to move, show and hide any column.
- Enter specific work periods and filter your data using them, so you can see what work needs to be done during each work period.
- Create industry-specific defect, test and survey reports for all your equipment.
- Create bespoke reports easily. Create a report of up to nine headings of your choice in any order, and create specific filters for that report. Any time you want the report, just select it. Any time you need a new report for a specific purpose, simply build it and save it.
- Summary reports are all printable.
- All reports can be printed or saved in PDF format.
Other Features
- Document management system. Manage engineering documents, pictures and video, and link them to specific items.
- No double keying. Any information entered into SOTER, using either the PC or the PDA version, is automatically synchronised with its counterpart. Practically, this means the PDA side is always up to date with your latest asset data, and when you take the PDA around your site to test your equipment all the results are available on the PC.
- Small and robust solution. SOTER is built using high quality software with a small-footprint database. The practical upshot is that you don't need big-powerful computers to run it on, it won't take up all your hard drives capacity, and you don't need to buy any special equipment. It will run on any normal PC or Laptop, and on most PDA's.
